INTRO TO THE ROCCI TREE

If you are new to our studio, welcome!

​

Our NEW Intro to The Rocci Tree course is the perfect place to learn more about the sessions we offer and find a class to suit you.

​

 

Week 1 – Yoga with Rocci

Rocci will give you an introduction to Yoga and everything at The Rocci Tree. Together you will explore Pawanmuktasana (or the Joint Freeing Series), Pranayama (breathing techniques) and the look at opportunities to move your body and relax your mind.

​

Week 2 – Yoga with Natasha

Natasha will introduce you to some of the most common Asana (Yoga postures) and Surya Namaskar (The Sun Salutations) which is a sequence of yoga postures used in lots of different styles of yoga.

​

Week 3 – Pilates with Gem

Pilates centres around postural alignment and pays a lot of attention to our abdominal corset of muscles, which support the spine. Gem is our Pilates teacher and she will guide you through a general class where you will learn a variety of exercises to increase strength and mobility throughout the whole body, which allows you to move well in your daily life.

 

Week 4 – Tai Chi with Ian

Tai chi is an ancient Chinese tradition that is nowadays practiced as a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of gentle movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by breathing to create harmony between the mind and body. Ian is our Tai Chi teacher and he will give you a little information about the practice of Tai Chi and guide you through a general class.
